Hail from Larissa, Greece, Gus Drax (originally Konstantinos Drahalivas) is a highly skilled guitarist known for his technical prowess and melodic sensibility. Following his early success with Biomechanical, he co-founded the progressive metal band Sunburst, where he showcased his intricate guitar work. Alongside Sunburst, he released his solo album In Search of Perfection, further solidifying his reputation as a virtuoso in the metal scene.
Gus Drax made his mark in multiple metal subgenres with his lightning-fast yet expressive playing. After establishing Sunburst, he joined the melodic metal band Black Fate, contributing to their album Between Visions & Lies. Expanding his reach, he also became the lead guitarist for thrash titans Suicidal Angels, debuting on their 6th album Division of Blood and playing a key role in their aggressive sound during his tenure with the band.
